The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) has published its 2009 “Performance and Accountability Report.” And among the findings, we see that California led the way when it comes the number of residents (including resident companies) issued patents in 2009. We’ll refrain from saying Californians are the most inventive.
